After the incredible success of season one, fans have been eager to see more of A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms, regardless of what form that may take. With its smaller, yet nevertheless thrilling scale and endearing characters, it's no surprise that fans want more of A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms. After all, the show proved that the vast expanses of Westeros had plenty of phenomenal stories left to tell that didn't have to involve the grand politicking, dragons, and warmongering of the original Game of Thrones series. With details of A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms season 2 circulating online, fans already have more than enough to get excited about. However, what they may not have been aware of is that the show is returning in September through the critically acclaimed Game of Thrones: Legends. This new project will give AKotSK fans something exciting to engage with as they await the next season of the show, or, at the very least, even more GoT content to immerse themselves in. Game of Thrones: Legends is the critically acclaimed puzzle RPG mobile game from developer Zynga. It has been running since 2024, with updates adding new events based on iconic battles from the books and series, alongside iconic characters ranging from beloved minor players to the series' core protagonists and antagonists. Naturally, one would expect characters and events from the now hugely popular A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms to appear, and, fortunately, they do. In September, there are several AKotSK characters coming to GoT: Legends, including both Dunk and Egg. While they're both being added to the newly formed The Scattered Banners faction, Egg is also getting a brand-new iconic item. The item is being added alongside new ones for Joffrey and Melisandre, and will vastly improve Egg as an unlockable character. Titled I Would Not Leave You Ser, the iconic item enhances Egg's healing abilities, allowing him to cleanse debuffs and grant Block to allies. This is how the iconic item is described via the game's official press release: "Equip I Would Not Leave You Ser to turn Egg into an unwavering guardian for your squad. Landing a Critical Heal allows Egg to cleanse harmful debuffs while granting Block to protect his allies. Whenever a teammate receives a Critical Strike Chance Buff, Egg passively heals the entire team and if an enemy lands a Skill Critical Strike on an ally, Egg retaliates by setting that foe ablaze with Fire." Of course, while this update to Egg in Game of Thrones: Legends isn't quite the A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms video game some may have preferred, it is a nice addition to an already stuffed experience. Legends has received numerous updates recently to improve the overall experience based on player feedback, making now one of the best times to jump on board and see what all of the fuss is about. It is worth noting that, like with all free-to-play mobile games, Game of Thrones: Legends features several in-app purchases. In order to unlock the likes of Egg, players will need to fork over a fairly sizable sum to get various summons and character shards, or, alternatively, spend hours grinding to get the requisite items needed to unlock him. However, for those fully invested, this new A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms iconic item in Game of Thrones: Legends should help buff the already incredible Egg, making him an even more worthwhile summon.
