All eight people in the car died on the spot.Locals, fire and rescue personnel and police carried out a rescue operation and pulled the victims out of the car. Authorities took the bodies to the mortuary of Thrissur Medical College, police said.The vehicle involved in the accident had a Tamil Nadu registration. Police said the deceased were suspected to be students from Tamil Nadu.
