Photo courtesy of NMIS Caraga SAN FRANCISCO, Agusan del Sur— Authorities confiscated and disposed of 630 kilograms of imported meat allegedly found noncompliant with meat safety requirements during a joint enforcement operation on Wednesday in this town. The National Meat Inspection Service (NMIS) in Caraga and the San Francisco municipal government conducted the operation in support of meat safety and consumer protection. Mayor Grace Carmel Paredes-Bravo said the confiscated products were disposed of in accordance with established procedures.
