5 new names just entered Ohio's Big 50 football rankings — here's who made the cut

CLEVELAND, Ohio — Here is an update to the Ohio Big 50 player rankings, an individual watch list of the state’s best high school football players during the 2026 season.College offers and postseason honors from last season carried the most weight in selecting these players entering the season. Now, what has unfolded during the first three weeks plays a factor.There are five players making their debut in the Big 50, including Glenville junior cornerback Jaylen Edwards. Schools, including Ohio State, are considering him on defense but he also has expanded his game early this season as a wide receiver. Garfield Heights junior running back Elijah Harris, who has 439 yards rushing and six touchdowns for the undefeated Bulldogs, also enters the top 50. Senior running backs Kenyon Norman of Lakota West and Isaiah Garrett of Cincinnati Winton Woods also crack the Big 50.There also are now two sophomores, as Cincinnati Archbishop Moeller Britton “Juice” Glover-Brown joins Pickerington Central’s Edmund McAllister in this elite company.
