The Gamerscore on Xbox is a funny thing to chase. You can spend 60 hours finishing a massive RPG, beating its toughest bosses, and exploring everything the game has to offer, only to look at your profile and realize you’ve earned fewer points than your friend who spent 30 minutes coloring pictures on Xbox. There’s nothing wrong with taking the easy route, especially if you want to be hailed as an achievement collector. Thankfully, not every Xbox achievement needs to be earned through blood, sweat, and several increasingly angry attempts at the same boss fight. Xbox has plenty of free games that will allow you to sit down, play something easy for a little while, and watch those numbers go up effortlessly. Some of these titles are so generous with their achievements that you can walk away with hundreds of Gamerscore after completing a handful of simple tasks. The Legend of Fireball This is one of the easiest Xbox games you can squeeze some very precious Gamerscore out of in just a couple of hours. The premise for The Legend of Fireball couldn’t be simpler: you’re a fireball, and you start out smashing ordinary objects, then gradually work your way towards bigger targets while upgrading the fireball’s abilities. Those upgrades are also where most of the achievements come from. The 20-achievement list is worth 1,000 Gamerscore, with easy objectives tied to activities like reaching Level 15, upgrading Fireball Power and Stamina to specific levels, improving Stamina Recovery, and spending 100,000 coins. That said, The Legend of Fireball has a lot more going on than its achievement list. You can upgrade different fireballs, costumes, and relics while also having pets join you to provide additional abilities. There are even timed challenges where you’re asked to destroy a certain number of objects before the clock runs out. Thankfully, you don’t need to become an expert at any of that. You can hit the 1,000 Gamerscore finish line in around one to two hours, thanks to how easy the achievement list is. There’s no real need to speed up this progression, but trust me, you wouldn’t need a way to. Korgan Korgan is a fun episodic dungeon crawler for anyone interested in the genre, but its free prologue is where achievement hunters should be paying attention. The game lets you switch between three classes—a warrior, mage, and hunter—as you explore its dungeon areas, and that ability to swap characters is actually useful for several of the achievements. The free portion contains 11 achievements worth 1,000 Gamerscore. You’ll pick up some simply by progressing through the prologue and defeating its bosses, including the Spider Queen, Leviathan, and Treant. Others ask you to complete easy tasks such as killing 10 enemies, disarming 10 traps with the Hunter, killing 10 frozen enemies, and collecting 1,000 crystals. There are a couple of things worth knowing before you start, though. Some achievements in Korgan are technically missable during normal progression, although the game’s teleport system makes cleanup fairly painless. There’s also a bizarre secret achievement simply listed as “???” that requires a very specific sequence of actions, so this is one occasion where you may have to reach for a guide. Nevertheless, you can complete the prologue in about two to three hours, making Korgan a pretty generous game for those looking to add some quick Gamerscore to their profile. Coloring Book This one is exactly what the name suggests. All you have to do is complete digital coloring pages, and somehow that is enough to add 1,000 Gamerscore to your Xbox profile. And this isn’t some old Xbox One game that’s been sitting around for years. QubicGames released Coloring Book on Xbox in December 2025, with Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC versions available. The base game has 22 achievements worth 1,000 Gamerscore, and you’ll be coloring pages according to some basic instructions for all of them. It’s worth noting that Coloring Book has paid DLC that adds more achievements. If the DLC is considered, there are 64 achievements worth 1,630 Gamerscore in total. You can complete the full base-game achievement list in just 30 minutes to an hour. If your Gamerscore is looking a little neglected, you could quite literally spend your lunch break coloring your way to another 1,000G. Idle Wizard If you want 1,000G without having to actually play very much but don’t mind keeping your console on idle for it, add Idle Wizard to your library. In this incremental game, your wizard generates mana over time, which you then spend on upgrades, characters, and other improvements. The achievement list is built almost entirely around that progression. The base game has 10 achievements worth 1,000G. You’ll get the first one simply by buying an upgrade, while others ask you to unlock the Pixie, reach Apprentice Level 5, unlock the Zombie and Druid, and buy 100 Mana Gems, 100 Grimoires, and 100 Spell Fountains. There’s one funky achievement called “Day’s Work” that literally requires 24 hours of total playtime. But Idle Wizard is an idle game, so you don’t have to sit in front of your console for a full day. You can leave it running and come back later once the required time has passed. A slightly more involved called “First Time For Everything” requires you to perform your first Exile after accumulating 10 quintillion mana, but even this can be accelerated using the game’s offline progression. The base 1,000G for Idle Wizard technically takes around one to two hours of active play, not including the idle time required for “Day’s Work.” If you’re not in a hurry to earn Gamerscore, Idle Wizard is definitely one of the easiest achievement games on Xbox right now. Island Saver Island Saver is, hands down, the strangest pick on this list. It’s literally a game published by a bank to educate kids about managing money responsibly, and it revolves around cleaning up polluted islands, recycling rubbish, and helping the animals that live there. Well, at least it has one of the easiest sets of achievements you can target. The achievements are mostly about financial responsibilities, all things kid-friendly, of course. For example, you’ll need to deposit 100 and then 1,000 gold doubloons into the bank, take out a loan and repay it, earn 50 Tax Tokens, use those tokens to empty a recycler, and eventually use them to build a bridge. There are also achievements for earning interest on your savings, spending money at Pigby’s Store, and exchanging currencies. A few objectives require you to pay attention to the game’s economy rather than simply following the story. Note that this one isn’t a 30-minute Gamerscore farm like Coloring Book or some of the shorter games on this list. There are 13 achievements worth 1,000G in the base game, and they can take anywhere between six and eight hours to complete. That makes Island Saver the longest one on this list, but it’s still one of the easier Xbox games you can play for Gamerscore in 2026. Also, it’s a genuinely fun game to play if you ask me.
