5 arrested for clicking nursing exam paper, sending via WhatsApp in Maharashtra

Nursing School on Friday, an official said.Police arrested the accused, examination supervisor Rakhi Chavan, her sister Rani Chavan, one Pratiksha Kiran Khillare, Ishwar Baraboina and Dilip Borkar in connection with the incident.According to the police, Rakhi, who was deployed at the examination centre in Parbhani, allegedly took a photograph of the question paper on her mobile phone soon after the examination commenced at 10.30 am and sent it to her sister through WhatsApp. The malpractice came to light during an inspection by central inspectors, the official said.Suspecting that the question paper had been taken out of the examination centre while the test was in progress, centre inspector Vishwajit Mathapati searched for the female invigilator and, on scanning her mobile phone, found a photograph of the question paper.
