Photo: GovHK. The defendants – 68-year-old Leung Lai-ha, her 34-year-old daughter Ng Ka-wun, and 34-year-old Xu Yang – made their first appearance at Kwun Tong Magistrates’ Courts on Thursday. The trio were granted HK$5,000 bail each and banned from entering APM mall, where the alleged confrontation took place. All three were charged with fighting in a public place, with Leung facing an additional charge of common assault for allegedly striking Xu’s five-year-old daughter. Footage of the fight was shared widely online last week. No plea was taken from the defendants, and Acting Principal Magistrate Li Chi-ho adjourned the case to November 5.
