2 men rescued from river in Occidental Mindoro town
CALAPAN CITY, Oriental Mindoro — Two men who were stranded in the middle of a river while gathering wood were rescued and brought to safety by responders there on Tuesday. The Magsaysay Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (MDRRMO) said its Operations Center received a report about the men trapped by strong river currents.
