1 killed after 2 glider planes collide in upstate New York, police say

One person was killed when two gliders collided in mid-air in upstate New York on Friday afternoon, New York State Police said in a statement.Police were called to respond to a report of a mid-air collision at around 2:26 p.m. on Friday, the statement said. Just over two hours later, police said investigators discovered debris "in a remote area, off of Sand Lake Road in Edinburg" in Saratoga County."Two glider planes collided in the air.
